The Tel Aviv community is a young community for young Olim living in Tel Aviv, and based in the heart of Tel Aviv. At first, we worked mainly with the Russian speaking population, but we are now expanding to work with Olim from other countries as well.
Under the leadership of Rabbi Ariel Constantine, the Tel Aviv community offers a wide variety of spiritual, cultural, social, and educational activities, for old residents and Olim from all religious backgrounds, in a warm atmosphere of inclusion and mutual respect.
Rabbi Ariel Constantine took it upon himself to lead the community and create a significant Jewish establishment. Rabbi Ariel served as a synagogue rabbi in the USA since 1997 and after moving to Israel, he recognized a lack of community rabbinical leadership as is customary abroad.
Since its beginning, the community has been holding activities for the general public in the city, with more than 3,000 people on its mailing list who follow us online. Some of the activities include activities for holidays with thousands of people – such as Purim parties with a live band, a sign language interpreter, an open bar and a show for children, which are all broadcast live; Tisha B’av with hundreds of participants reading the scroll of Lamentations on the beach; Jewish music concerts, lessons, and one of the most successful conversion programs in Israel.
In addition, we hold activities with the Tel Nordau state elementary school.
