Or Israel Ra’anana

The Or Israel community was founded in 2016, with the aim of establishing a Jewish community for Brazilians in Israel. Over 100 Brazilian families pf Olim are engaged with the community. The community’s headquarters is the Or Israel Synagogue in Ra’anana. The synagogue holds daily activities, with 20 Yeshiva students, daily prayers and daily Torah lessons.

The community is also active outside the synagogue. It organizes events for all ages, men, women and children. Community members have established various support groups to facilitate the repatriation of Brazilian Jews, welcome and provide assistance to Olim as soon as they arrive in Ra’anana.
